Pong for Playdate

A simple recreation of the classic Pong arcade game, made for the Playdate handheld console.

Play against a computer opponent, bounce the ball with your paddle, and be the first to score 7 points!

The ball speeds up as the rally continues, and the bounce angle depends on where it hits your paddle.

This is a free, small learning project created to practice the complete game development process — from the first line of code to a finished release.

Controls

  • Up / Down — Move your paddle
  • A — Start or restart the game

Requires a Playdate console.
